We know it takes a wealth of partners to make Madison a better place for all to live, learn, grow and thrive. The Foundation offers a multitude of ways in which the community can support Madison’s public schools through financial gifts as well as the opportunity to work directly in the schools and with our scholars, sharing your time and talents.

  • Our Adopt-a-School program offers local businesses and community organizations the opportunity to directly engage with schools and scholars, sharing their time, talents, financial and in-kind gifts. Our earliest (and enduring) partnership dates to 2005 when Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin adopted Leopold Elementary School.¬†¬†
  • The Teacher Support Network is now offering an online store solely for Madison Metropolitan School District. The Foundation provides each school a budget which they can spend on essential school supplies, art supplies, science kits, learning tool, recess / PE equipment and more. EZ Office Products is our local business partner, hosting the online store, fulfilling and delivering orders. This program is now in it’s third year, originally launched with an Evjue Foundation grant. Our annual fundraising campaign is supported by the Wisconsin State Journal and Madison.com with the aim of closing the gap on the $1.4M teachers spend annually out-of-pocket to purchase supplies and classroom materials.
  • Our Schools Make Madison Champions and Sponsors make financial gifts to the Foundation that enable us to develop and deliver programs and services to Madison Metropolitan School district.
  • Our Legacy Circle members make planned gifts to the Foundation through their estate planning, creating funds that will support future generations of district scholars.

We are also proud to support the following organizations through membership, sponsorship or other forms of contribution.
